Behind Gg’s Haus

Gg’s Haus started because I got tired of pretending I didn’t miss parts of myself.

Somewhere between growing up, taking on responsibility, and becoming a mom, it became clear how rare it is for women to have spaces that don’t ask us to perform, produce, or explain who we are. Community starts to feel transactional. Creativity becomes another thing we’re supposed to be “good” at. Girlhood gets quietly packed away.

I’m an event planner with a background in labor and delivery nursing, which means I’ve spent years witnessing women in some of the most vulnerable, transformative moments of their lives. I’ve seen firsthand how deeply women need support, softness, and connection—and how often that disappears once the moment passes and real life takes over.

This didn’t come from a business plan. It came from lived experience—and from my gg, who has always believed that the best conversations happen when your hands are busy. In her world, crafting was never about the outcome. It was about sitting together, talking, laughing, and feeling at home.

Gg’s Haus is my way of carrying that energy forward. Not as a venue. Not as a workshop. But as a community-led, pop-up event series for women and identifying women who want connection without pressure, creativity without productivity, and community without performance.

This is a space rooted in warmth, shared making, and showing up exactly as you are.
